I'm so sad that the second proposition didn't pass! I was a member of the community facilities advisory group and I can tell you so much time and energy went into this project by many members of our community. One thing I did take note of though - besides my husband and I there were only a handful of parents of children in the district involved. This would have been passed if more parents took an active involvement in their children's future.
Well, see: most of us parents in the district prefer to do nothing for our children's future. Mainly because we just don't care how it goes. So therefore we choose not to get involved.
Your comment is condescending. Perhaps it WOULD have passed with more involvement - perhaps because with more people talking about it there would have been less distrust, and a better plan made.
